THE AUDITION CLINIC

This in-person workshop is a step-by-step breakdown of the auditioning process. It teaches actors how to get specific, pin down the first moment, make on-the-spot adjustments, and instantly connect to any audition material thrown their way. Feel free to bring your own material to work on as well. 

 

This workshop is taught by LA acting coach and talent agent Rick Kostenick. He has worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, and has had the opportunity to coach numerous stars including Kevin Bacon and his wife, Jamie Fox, Robert Downey Jr. and Steven Spielberg.

KIDS/TEENS ON CAMERA ACTING CLASS 

This class will encourage your child to use their imagination and to develop the techniques and confidence they need to create believable performances for the camera.

 

This class teaches the fundamentals of acting by using basic techniques and fun acting games. Children participate in class and work on improving their basic skills for auditions, improvisation, cold reading skills, martial arts/stage combat, and an Intro to the Meisner technique.

ACTING FOR FILM 

Acting for Film provides students an environment to become comfortable acting in front of the camera. The class emphasizes the practice of the subtlety and nuance of film acting including learning to adjust the performance for specific shot size, finding the arc of the character and learning to maintain the integrity of the script while shooting out of sequence. Students will also become familiar with film set terminology and etiquette.
