Country Swing Level 2: Moves & Techniques (Pre-requisite of Country Swing Level 1) Level 2 gradually addresses fundamental techniques as we explore a variety of moves and connections that you see social dancing and at lower levels of country swing competitions. Emphasis is on lead AND follow technique and timing moves with 1 step per beat country swing. This is a good steppingstone to the Level 3 content… I try to match what’s happening in Level 2 and Level 3 each month for students that take both classes. This class covers different content each month. Tuesday Nights 8:00pm-8:50pm Cost: $50 for 4-week session Mini FAQ: I occasionally get asked what to wear (clothes and shoes). For clothes, I recommend you wear something you feel comfortable in and that you can move in. I have students show up in sweatpants and a t-shirt. I have students that show up in a suit and tie. It's your preference. For shoes, I ask you to bring footwear to switch into, especially during the winter, so we don’t get mud or snow tracked into our studio floors. I recommend you wear shoes you feel comfortable moving in. Often for students that is something that allows them to spin on the floor when they are on the balls of their feet (important for both leads and follows in country swing). You are totally welcome to wear socks.
